Privacy
Your tools stay local. Analytics is separate.
The calculators and QR tools process the information you enter in your browser. Site analytics is a separate service, described below.
Vercel Analytics
The site includes Vercel Analytics for aggregate website traffic reporting. It is separate from Google Analytics consent preferences; choosing Decline for Google Analytics does not change the Vercel integration. Vercel describes its Web Analytics product as cookieless and privacy-friendly. See Vercel’s privacy documentation for its handling details.
Optional Google Analytics
Google Analytics is configured for this site and loads only after you choose Accept. Before that choice, this site does not load Google’s tag or send Google Analytics requests. The tag uses cookies and a pseudonymous browser identifier to report sessions and navigation; the consent choice is stored in this browser’s local storage. This implementation does not create a Google Analytics account or user ID for you and does not reliably recognize you across devices.
What Google Analytics records
After consent, the site sends one page_view on each full page load and these fixed tool actions: an FPS voucher passes validation, FPS QR generation passes its self-check, an FPS QR PNG download is initiated, the first interaction with the housing calculator, the first interaction with the FIRE calculator, and a tax-ledger status change. Custom events have no parameters. GA4 can also collect its baseline session events (session_start, first_visit, user_engagement). This site’s Google Analytics property settings for Enhanced Measurement and data retention have not been verified; verify and document the actual settings before relying on these reports.
Information that is not sent
The tools process financial inputs, payment amounts, tax and bill identifiers, merchant details, filenames, and decoded/generated QR payloads in your browser. These values and the results computed from them are not attached to analytics events. Google may receive standard request and device/browser information needed to provide Analytics, including network information used to estimate general location.
Data retention and Google settings
Google Analytics is configured for production but remains opt-in. The GA4 account owner has not yet confirmed the property’s event-data retention, Google Signals, advertising personalization, or Enhanced Measurement settings. Until those settings are verified, this policy does not claim any particular retention period or property-level privacy configuration.
Changing your choice
You can decline when first asked or reopen Google Analytics preferences using the link in the site footer. Changing to Decline stops further Google Analytics collection from this site; it does not erase data already collected by Google. The preference affects Google Analytics only, not Vercel Analytics.
